I don’t forget the nights I cried or words that cut too deep, I don’t ignore the promises you couldn’t always keep. But growth is loud in silence, in choices no one sees, And you’re finally choosing effort over those empty pleas. Love is always hard but ive loved you since 14 I look at old couples and it always make me think How time can fly and love can grow,in just a single blink Too last forever its takes time,challenges and an awful lot of growth But these are the things you have to do for the ones you love the most Noone is perfect ,we learn very young and it makes us more aware You are also not perfect but I want to see you grow even when noones there Sorry means nothing and thats the sad truth so dont take it to heart When i call out your excuses and make you acknowledge your part Growing isn't an individual task sometimes it takes two To turn a tarnished love into something fruitful and new Dont think this means i forgive you,we've got a ways to go I really do have faith in you l, even though I might not show The sun is out and Christmas is here ,soon the year will be new Even though I still have doubts, and we've got lots of work to do Ill keep my heart close and not give it away too soon Ill let you show your true colours and see if we will make it through
