I wanted to be his help, be his support. Be his world even when the rest of it abandoned him Even if it meant abandoning myself. Even if the world clearly abandoned him for a reason. In all fairness, I've always been a sucker for this one quote….. “One man's trash is another man's treasure” or however that goes. I've always found a disturbing comfort in knowing that I'm not the only one being screwed over by men. Maybe we can all bond over this like heartbreak is the one language we all end up speaking.
