I thought of you today! And of your presence. How its absence is not only seen but felt. I thought to tell you of your value. And the strength I see. How many have died before getting where you are! I'm proud of you! And all your growth. Shining brighter than last season. Smiling more and laughing out loud. I pray you're crying less too, and joy greats you with each day. I want to tell you that yesterday was needed. The day before, that was foundational. We can not replace those days, So we own them. Yes, we did, And no, we didn't! All those days have made you beautiful. I'm thankful you survived each and every one. Because now I know that I am able. I almost crashed out today, but I didn't. Because I thought of you!
