Is time itself futile? In adding time...comfort doesn't multiple and pausing it brings no value. The thing that was, will always be, and what will be can not be changed. Time marks a season and names its assignment. When time is up, that season is complete. Time can not be duplicated but fulfilled. Nothing can last longer than it's time or season. This is the order of nature as it is written. Slaves toil until they reign. Opressesion trumps until Right-Ruling stands. Babylon will be strong until it is not. Grace is only sufficient during its time. Emotions steer the weak until there is healing. Tho shall not kill until given the heads of our enemies. Comfort ends when the wilderness grows. Persecution is for the misunderstood until they are lifted up. Familiarity ends only where reverence reigns. Time creates a space to learn or grow seeds of folly. Time has no respect of person and can not be reckoned. Time just keeps going, whether we are in right standing or not. The intentional beholder of time is crowned with understanding. Time was created for our joy and suffering, and it will be until the Father has called it to rest. Is time itself isn't futile? No, but sometimes the beholder is.
