The sun shines, bright and happy. As if the moon isn't in longing. It gives its light freely to the world. And the humans dance in its honour below. Yet whenever the moon wants to say hello. The sun says I'm tired, I've shined like a halo. For tomorrow it is, another day in solo. The moon never disappears, never gives up. Always trying it's best, for that dream it wants to live up. It tells the stars, about the beauty of the sun. Saying, if you ever had the chance to see her in full aura. Tell her how much I adored her shine. But never tell her how I longed to be in that light. How much I yearned to have her for myself. To be selfish, only for once, and see how it feels to have her all to myself. Never speak about the thousands of times I was jealous of the humans below, That they would have her love and kindness unconditionally, yet never seem to quite know. Never word my sadness , because someday, the sun might get tired of me and never shine again. And that's when I will disappear forever, as if I never been in existence. Never speak of what I desired. She might get her beautiful light getting saddened.
