That night, where stars scattered in the sky, It was so bright as it shined through the dark. I looked above, hoping God would hear my sigh, And hope within me started to spark. There was a guy—Dino—whom I prayed to God. He was different, not like the others. So I asked, “Would you give me a sign, God?” Silence. And I knew God was preparing something deeper. That night arrived, and still he weren’t there, And I began to lose hope, Like I was trapped in a well, But God gave me a rope To restore my hope. The first sign was granted by God: He arrived, and I was revived. And I wanted to sit and talk to God, What a wonderful sign that arrived. Yet that sign was not enough to convince me. I didn’t believe in coincidence—well, maybe a little. So I asked again, “If he is really for me, Then he should wear a hat, God.” And I started to hope again. That night arrived again, and I looked for him. And the second sign was granted, He wore a hat that night. Still, I didn’t believe in coincidence—only a little. And God had another idea to convince me, That it was truly His time. So God worked through the close friends of Dino. They brought me into a small room. There he was, his back turned to me. Chaos followed, and I was shocked. Why was he there? I was shaking—my hands were. But when he looked at me, he seemed shy. His friends were giggling, and I was dumbfounded. I asked God in my mind, “What is it, God?” They asked if we could take a photo, And I almost exploded, I didn’t expect that. People inside were giggling, and so was I. Then his friends wanted us to close the gap between us, and he obeyed. I couldn’t see his face since I was wearing a hat. We were both wearing hats. I couldn’t explain the feelings I had that night.
