My soul is the only thing I am leaving with! Everything else is transitory…. expiration date loading. The body will expire, but the soul will not, The mind will expire, but Wisdom will not, Hatred will be destroyed, but love endures until the end. Even the most precious things in life end with its season, Is it not in the nature of a thing? Is time allotted rest? Do the stars and moon run off track? Consider the truth, Friends are seasonal, Family is for childhood, Marriage is for endurance, And life is for testing. Know your enemy and love, A failed test is a learned heart of repentance, A failed test shouldn’t leave room for anger or grief, Your deliverance is in your knowledge and understanding. Look in the mirror, Who do you see? A Father of Truth or one who entertains lies. The image before you, that’s the The Way. You are the light that lights the path back home. You can be your worst enemy, Heavily armed, Ready to empty the clip, Because you’ve been in survival mode. Or you can love yourself better than all the rest, Securing all things that will not fade. The road has not declared it’s comfort, But it’s need for consistency without partially. And I have learned that the hardest road to walk, Leads right back to me, But I will walk this road, leaving everything else to fade, Because my soul is the only thing I am leaving with!
