O! Who blessed you with fragrance sweet That floats in the air to greet My keen sensory organs acute And immerse me in bliss absolute? O! Flowers ,  with your bewitching hues You often become  a poet's Muse, Stirring his mind and heart Into penning sonnets to his sweetheart. You cling to the creepers and trees, Sometimes in clutches of twos and threes, And sometimes as a single glorious one Catching the eyes of everyone. Countless forms you are draped in, Hues many you are painted in, Even in desolate corner you bloom To drive away a passerby's gloom. But alas! Your life is often short For soon from this world you depart, I grieve to find you fall From a bush or a tree tall. But you bring lasting  joy to everyone For you have the hearts of all won By your colourful presence And your matchless elegance. Raghav R 10.10.2025
