She laughs so others don't have to cry, She listens, though no one asks why. Her shoulders ache with unspoken care, Her smile's a mask she has to wear. She hides behind closed doors, Listening to music until it drowns her thoughts. And no one's asking why, Because she's the oldest - and she is always alright. But how can someone believe the words she says, When she's saying them with trembling lips and tears?
