🌧️ Title: “Between the Frames” ✍️ Poem by Vijay Sharma Erry --- (1) The screen flickered, voices rose and fell, A story of love that turned to shell. Two faces arguing in soft despair, Unknowingly mirrored my own affair. --- (2) Their words were sharp, yet oddly known, As if my heart had found its clone. “Oh shoot!” I whispered, cold and still, “Is this my life on the window sill?” --- (3) The kitchen empty, cups turned dry, Echoed her laughter from days gone by. Her coffee jar, her gentle tone, Now lingered here when she had flown. --- (4) The TV couple fell apart, Just like the cracks within my heart. I switched it off — no more disguise, Just silence staring through my eyes. --- (5) The rain outside, the streets aglow, Reflected faces I used to know. I walked where memories softly bled, And whispered words I’d left unsaid. --- (6) A letter written, simple, true, “My world was gray, but bright with you.” No message sent, no tears to show, Just faith that love might still regrow. --- (7) Then came the sound — the door, the key, Her eyes met mine — could this still be? She smiled and said, “Let’s start anew,” The world turned warm, the skies turned blue. --- (8) Now every show and story plays, I see our past in quiet ways. For love returns when hearts reclaim, The truth we lost between the frames. --- ✍️ — Vijay Sharma Erry
