I’m breathing, but it don’t feel real, Drowning in thoughts I can’t conceal. My chest is heavy, my mind’s on fire, Trapped in a cage built from desire. The world moves fast, I’m standing still, Lost in the dark against my will. I scream for help, but it fades in vain, Echoes return — just me and my pain. My smile’s a lie, my eyes can’t fake, The nights are long, the mornings ache. I’m fighting demons I can’t explain, Each breath I take just feeds the chain. If peace is near, I can’t locate it, If love is real, I’ve suffocated. Still, I pray — though hope is fading, God, save my soul — I’m suffocating.
