I know how clic'he it sounds but, you never know what you have till it's gone, I should know, I never knew I was going to get sick one day and never get better, I never knew that I would never have the body that everyone else seems to have, I never knew I would have to say goodbye to a healthy body, I never knew that I would need mobility aids, I never knew I would always need medication on top of medication, I never knew I would need all the needles that traumatized me, I never knew I would be a medical guinea pig, and I wish I did know because maybe it would lessen the pain, maybe it would sting less, maybe I could be a super successful Olympic racer like I always wanted to be, maybe I would actually be happy, maybe I wouldn't be such a burden on those I love.
