--- The Flames ✍️ Vijay Sharma Erry --- Into the flames rising out of a setting sun, I draw in a deep breath before I run... --- 1 The sky is painted in crimson and gold, Stories of courage silently unfold. The wind whispers secrets the day had spun, I brace myself, for the night has begun. --- 2 Shadows stretch long, reaching for me, Chains of doubt, I’m yearning to break free. Every heartbeat pounds like a drum, Calling me forward to what I’ll become. --- 3 The horizon burns with untold desire, I chase my dreams through the smoke and fire. Fear tries to bind me, yet I refuse, This path of light I was born to choose. --- 4 Memories flicker like sparks in the air, Of battles fought and the burdens I bear. But the embers of hope still brightly remain, Guiding my spirit through struggle and pain. --- 5 Voices of silence echo inside, “Don’t turn back now, you must not hide.” For every tear that has ever been shed, Strength blossoms where the soul has bled. --- 6 The night may be cold, the journey unknown, But courage is fire I’ve made my own. With each weary step, the darkness will bend, And the flames of the sun will rise again. --- 7 Into the blaze of a thousand fears, I carry the weight of forgotten years. But in this fire, I find my rebirth, A stronger soul, more rooted in earth. --- 8 So let the flames rise, let the trials come, I’ll run till the echoes of dawn have sung. For deep in my chest, a truth has begun – The brightest battles are the hardest won. ---
