When I joined the competition Something happened beyond my expectation I saw the girl I deeply regret The one I once liked, but wish I'd forget I love writing poetry But the moment my eyes met her, suddenly, My words began to fade away As if I was chained to my seat, unable to sway Until I could no longer bear it And chose instead to forfeit For shame had swallowed me whole I left quietly, never reaching my goal. - zy:)!.
