Do you ever look at the sun? Not just merely look, but really see? Do you notice how, even if it is the only one, It still shines so merrily? Even on cloudy days, There's a silver lining Peeking through the gray maze, Always hopeful, always shining. Isn't it funny how the sun never gives up? It returns again after the night, Just to feed a little buttercup, All the while making the world more bright. I'll always admire the golden beams... So, if the sun is happily free, And glowing, just like daydreams, Then the sun is what I aspire to be.
