To the girl that you see here now, she's not the same she’s lost somehow. She used to be joyful, lovely, and kind, amazing and caring, with a peaceful mind. She still holds kindness, that part won’t erase, she’s just like a bunny, hopping place to place. But she’s not happy like clouds that shine bright, she’s more of a dark cloud in the storm’s quiet night. No one is around her, her tears overflow, like raindrops that fall with no way to slow. But sometimes the night brings no rain at all, just thunder that echoes, fierce, loud, and tall. It’s so loud that she wants to break down and cry, she wants to feel something, but feelings pass by. Nothing is there when she needs it the most, just emptiness haunting, a lingering ghost. She’s losing people from left and from right, and all she can do is hold herself tight. She’s lost far too many, she’s stuck in despair, not knowing what’s next, or who will be there. Friends? but she’s lost in how to speak true, because when she shares, they bid her adieu. They say she’s too hard to handle or love, but that’s all she is both beneath and above. She’s locked in a cage, in a void she can’t flee, trapped by the years, stacked endlessly. No one will help her, no one will stay, no one will tell her, “You’ll be okay.” She wants to believe it, though deep down she knows, that nothing will change, that the darkness still grows. She wants to matter, to feel some release, but peace never comes, there’s no sense of peace. Everyone fills her with rage and with grief, a sadness so deep it defies belief. She’s filled up with doubt, with pain she can’t shake, with tears she can’t stop and wounds that still ache. She wants to be seen, but not in a way that makes people judge or push her away.
