Too soon to bloom said the flower in the room. Withering away in the sun where it thought it was swoon. It asked its owner for water but it was ignored. Sitting there helplessly where it was once adored. Poor potted plant had no thoughts of its own. All it could ever ask for is to be fed and was left alone. The sun was toxic as it kissed its petals and leaves. Too long it sat there with no water or reprieve. Wilting slowly with no love or care it seems.
