Far away from home I will go, The seed for a bright future to sow, How will it go, I do not know. Far away from my parents I'll be, To go and fulfill my destiny, How will it be, I will see. Feels like I'll be leaving for war, Feels like I'll be gone for ages. Don't know what God has in store, It will be a story of a thousand pages. Now, a new chapter in my life will unfold, "Exciting it'll be" so I'm told. Time to man up and I mustn't fold, To ensure whatever I sow, I'll reap in Gold and manifold. Though I go alone, your prayers go with me And wherever I go, I know the Good Lord's with me. All I ask, remember me in prayer as I remember you, It'll give me strength in all that I do.
