I write to appease myself, I sing to amuse myself, The world is my entertainment, The stars are my audience I need no acknowledgement, I have myself, I have the stars which dance to my voice, And listen with glee to my poems, They don't judge, They listen and applaud, The stars are my friends My friends protect me when I sleep They shower me with me compliments and gifts
