Not all scars fade. Some of them stay. Not because we didn’t heal… but because healing didn’t mean forgetting. I don’t always talk about it what broke me, what changed me, what I lost and had to live without. But sometimes, when it’s quiet, I feel them. The memories. The weight. The ache that taught me how to breathe differently. People see smiles, but they don’t see how much strength it takes to wear joy like perfume when pain still sleeps in your chest. I’m not asking anyone to understand. I just want to say if you carry invisible scars too, you’re not weak. You’re surviving something nobody else can see. And that… is its own kind of strength.
