Nothing remains, yet why does your thought return? At the back of my mind, this continues to churn. Should I enquire your well being, its an inner duel, Between heart and mind, whose advice should rule? That you are in good spirits, it gives me joy so true, The sight is alone enough to console my heart anew. As of now, no more wishes does my heart enthrall, But that you never understood me, this casts a pall. It happens often in dreams, I wander far and wide, The warmth of your hand in mine, I go on a worldly ride. Ever feel any void, or if you need a support to lean, Oblige me by remembering me, and I will intervene. Whatever the time be, even if an odd hour of the night, I shall rush, crossing all obstacles, with all my might. Nothing remains, yet why does your thought return? At the back of my mind, this continues to churn.
