My ears are ringing, A din of gunshots in distance Is heard I can feel my legs lose their strength As I crumble to the ground. Blood, blood everywhere, A smell of iron and sulfur Is suspended in the air, I can't keep my eyes open But I need to I NEED TO My mother awaits at home, When her arms spead for me, I have to make it home I can't let her down.
