I saunter into our old cottage Where we had created so many Memories over the years. , In every intention to see you Sitting in your old cream coloured armchair In hopes to see you sitting there once more . However that is not the case , I no longer see you sitting there and Answering the catch phrase questions on the television, or see you sitting there With a t.v magazine in your hands And moaning about the football postponing your favourite television shows like , Doctors or , good neighbours. Those were the best times . I remember when we would play together, we would sit there together for hours on end , doing puzzles together, watching our favourite shows , and colouring together and having a good time. However that's all changed. I now look at your arm chair every time I walk into that living room and a cold Icy , dark hollow feeling sets in my heart while a sick ,bitterness sensation rips at my heart strings , realising that what once was is no longer there . Instead shadows set on the places that you left , because it was your time . They say grief goes away , but the truth is it's always there it never goes away it just gets easier to deal with . some days it's difficult when I'm so many millions miles away and I have so much to say . However your just there in spirit . I feel the cold wind that you set upon my cheek everyday I adventure to school I notice , the feathers you lay in my path . But It so hard for me to understand still why I couldn't say goodbye . Instead it's just a constant battle of but why's and the memories flicker in my mind like a endless carousel, spinning in the night . ~ shadowed silhouettes
