Post

Long days; longer sad, lonely sessions on your bed, The weight increases per day, but not your strength. The soul can only take so much, Be it the warmth of stress or the ice of desertion If only I could fly without looking down, Sleep and let myself go in the netherworld. Laugh without fear of a hidden foe, Or let myself be hugged at 1 am. The chariot of time drags my husk along, Bumping into every possible shard on the way. Flung into the cruel world; left at deaths door, I gather my courage and go about with my daily battles. If only I could wait to smell the flowers, Let myself be spoiled with treats of love. If only the sun smiled at me for a bit longer, So that I could feel the unimaginable love I'm surrounded in. @Binaryocean
