what are we..? the question escaped my lips, my heart racing while you held me tightly against you was it the oxytocin high, the liquor in my system or the love you had shown my body that led to this moment?.. my mind thinking of the three years we've been together the sneaky looks and touches in public the slow kisses and the whispers of how you wanted me the sinking feeling in my chest every time you said you had to leave the little joy I felt when you got protective and possessive of me, the accidental 'I love you' said when you thought I was asleep the way you grabbed and caressed my body as if it was the first time again the little trips we took, the fun we had... meeting your friends, calling me your girl but when asked what we were, I saw the fear in your eyes.. you say you don't wanna lose me, but can't openly claim me.. am I just a pastime activity..?
