A nice fresh start Is what everyone needs, Especially when it comes To their car. They roll in, Hoping to clean off the Compelling residue of their sins. I watch as they roll in, Laughing to myself, How stupid they are. Gullible. Innocent. It's intriguing how dumb One can be. Cleaning up past mistakes? Ha, you're adorable. A slick dark red car rolls in; My favorite color. How beautiful. I watch it, my gaze, Stuck As it swiftly moves Towards the entrance. It looks clean. Unusually cleaner than any other Car I saw roll in. There's a sense of uncleanliness Though, Radiating off the car. What is he keeping From the eyes Of the devil? His dignity? His heart? His sins... The car gets to the entrance. Eagerly hoping to clean himself up. He reminds me of someone I know Oh, so well. Like the back of my hand. My best friend, But my worst enemy. Full of darkness, And sin. He drives in, Engine revving. The exhaust smells of sulfur. How nostalgic that is. He finds his way into the midst Of the carwash. The feeling of finally being clean Is amazing. But the paint peels off, Revealing the secrets he hides. I knew it. He doesn't notice, But feels clean. When he finally finishes, The other end blocks His path towards freedom. Darkness consumes him. He notices now And falls in. However, The car stays. The beautiful car Now has a sense of cleanliness; My specialty. He takes my place, The very place I've Been dreading Since the day my car Was taken from me. Now he will have to face The consequences of his sins. I'm finally free... Free into this horrible, beautiful, disgusting, World.
