As i look at it with adoring eyes I beg it not to grow up even a bit I beg time to let it be like this forever as if time had listened to me ever? When the little hands hold my finger tightly I look at sky and ask universe to let me be its support for lifetime When it hugs me like there's no tomorrow I really wish there would be no tomorrow and it would always be today yrs old only The smile on its lips will fade away too The tears that well up just for a toy Will be hidden by the fake mask of joy The first step,the first day at school I wish every day would go like this and it won't grow up any soon As i write this and close my eyes It's all grown up in the blink of an eye As the memories hit me back I keep my childhood photo back ( I post many such poems and writings on my insta page @ agape_writes13613)
