Mama, Papa, I don’t love you anymore, Once warm embrace now feels like distant shore, The laughter shared has faded into sighs, In silence grows the love that once could rise. The dreams we spun have unraveled like thread, Your voices echo softly, words unsaid. Yet in my heart, a gentle wish remains, For joy to find you, free from all our pains. Though pathways part, the bond can still be true, A seed of love still lingers, soft in hue. I turn away, but cherish what we’ve been, With lessons learned, I set my spirit free. So here I stand, no longer bound to we, In hope I seek the light that’s meant for me.
