I stare into the shattered mirror and see a fragile little girl, Who’s been beaten and crushed by the world. A once vibrant playground, now rusted and broken, A distant laughter, now forever unspoken. A happy drawing now faded, page ripped and lines blurred, Happy memories now twisted and slurred. Little girl hidden in a dark corner, bound and shackled, Her heart shaken and rattled. The sound of a lullaby, once comforting, now distant and faint, The unfamiliar walls stained red, like the heart's deep ache. A once cherished doll now beaten and neglected, A little girl shoved aside and rejected. The silent cry that no one hears, An ocean filled with tears. A garden once full of life, now abandoned and overgrown, A little girl now unknown. So now I stare into this shattered mirror, Left broken, feeling small and inferior.
