I found a letter, dust-laden, centuries old, Broke the wax seal, unraveled words defeated by time. Echoes of melancholic pining, lovers’ devotion, Adoration reaching beyond this life’s final rhyme. Those tears, curses, faded scars of affection, Whispers from the dead, begging forsaken of selfless bond. Those shattered dreams, chronicles that never endured. Bleeding ink, now gradually fading, Grief-stricken, unread by the right one. Words spoken by the heart, but unheard by another, A letter sent, but never returned.
