I did not choose this shape, but it is mine. the river moves slowly, softening what it loves until it is smooth. have patience. it will take years of careful, invisible creation. erosion does not always have to be violent. I have never been very good at patience at waiting, or staying still. but I refuse to stay sharp so I will follow the advice of a river, until my edges give way to something kinder.
