I have to let it all go The could of, should of and the must have. The memories I want to recreate Or create from a vibe that doesn't exist, and can't Or pretending to play a role I once played, When I was who I use to be. I have to loosen my grip of this world, To gain my portion. What does that look like? And how much more can I die? But my press hasn't weakened, And my desire has grown no less. Because Wisdom showed me, The old must be completely emptied, Before adding anything new. Or the new will mix with the old. And that's simple 1 plus 1 math. I can do it, it can be done One day at a time on this narrow path Without looking back Or holding on Just the tangible peace of dying One day at a time Leaving it behind And letting it all go
