It has never been about what we are or where we came from. It has always been about who we are and what we choose to stand for. Who we are, what we stand for, and what we do in our time on this earth go beyond a sense of belonging. It's a purpose we create for ourselves, something we shape into an unstoppable force of nature. It becomes an obsessive habit, a calling beyond understanding, and it drives us relentlessly. A starving urge to serve in a war that is not his own. A burning desire to walk through life with a purpose so pure that this man does not care if serving in a foreign war might ultimately rob him of his life. This unimaginable force guides us through the ruins and rubble of this world, often with a smile on our faces. It is what we do because, without it, we would forget what it truly feels like to be alive. Life is a personal possession, but that doesn’t mean you automatically live. Life is merely a span of time and space in which we exist. Too many people drift through their existence, throwing their lives away by not truly living. We become blind and naive, trapped in a system called society, a construct created by the most skilled psychological manipulators in history. They trick us by the thousands, by the millions, to obey, to conform, to play along in a game designed to keep us enslaved in a lifelong sentence of servitude. No, my friend... that is not living. While there are many external forces and systems in this world we cannot avoid, I promise you this: there are loopholes in the alleyways of this society, spaces they cannot reach. These are the cracks in the system where freedom lives, where control cannot touch us.
