Dear Dad There are so many things that I haven't said. To many feelings going through my head. For starters who were never there for a single game. I worked and practiced hard to earn your fame. Still I contined to play with a secret shame. My next confession is my greatest obsession. When mom died I cried for months not once did you comfort me. I locked myself away and lost all of my glee. All I wanted was you to showed me that you cared. Yet with someone else that love you shared. Ignored and confused my room became my tomb. Just seeking for some attention so true. You never knew this but I used to cut away the pain. My arms bear the marks and forever they shall remain. I have never had the courage to tell you the truth, for that I am ashamed. You obviously felt it to or you wouldnt have left so soon. Packing your bags and hitting the road following your own tune. Its just too bad after that I had no one to turn too. My final rant is my biggest burden through and through. I just want to heary you say with earnest "Son im proud of you." Five simple words you've never said them to my face with a loving embrace. Those are the words I continue to chase. Don't get me wrong you taught how to work hard. How to clean and mow a yard. We even fixed up that old car. I have some fond memories for those im grateful. However most of my word are hateful. Since you are my parent I love you unconditionally. I just question did you ever really love me?
