it's been a while since that day the day I grabbed the key slammed the door and drove away moving forward without looking back i'm not even familiar with the road every turn I take, only because the sign says so my knuckles are almost white whenever I'm driving into a new place but stopping was never a choice My foot never leaves the pedal I never look down until I realise there's no brake this car that I took years ago will never stop or maybe it won't stop, not under my will now that the speed never slows down I barely recognise the path anymore there's no brake for me to grab but I can't keep going like this I need something to run me down cause in this car, I can't save myself I'm drowning in the speed that I caused and I wish the seat next to me is not empty
