Monster in decay- And the guilt it grows teeth It whispers “you should have stopped it” You should have done anything but nothing” but you were a child A child. And still that same child stands there now facing the monster calling him ”the new changed” offering Mercy where none was ever given. I ate for that child I rage for that child I want justice to rise like a storm to make him feel even a fragment of what he buried. I cannot understand how love still lingers with something so rotten. I hate him to the marrow of my bones, a decay that walks like a man, a shadow that should have never existed. And the truth sits, some things don't change, some things don't heal. And some monsters Are still monsters No matter how softly they speak.
