Clouded skies worry me The dreariness is a difficulty How do I bear the absence of the sun When a season of rain has just begun My fears told me it would always be like this And I believed How could I have been so deceived So when the storm lashed out And a vivid bolt of lightning Tore across my vision I hid beneath the doubt Afraid of making a decision But at the universes insistence Somewhere off in the distance A strip of blue stretching over the horizon Became a much needed reminder That soon I could say "hi sun!"
