Some people dream of a life, clear and orderly, like a book with defined chapters. A place where everything is safe, where they stay on solid ground, instead of facing the waves. But me? I let myself be swept away by you, out into the unknown, away from what was familiar, because I thought we could create something of our own. Something that belonged only to us. Hand in hand, we promised never to let go of each other. We balanced on a tightrope, high above, above everything that could have made us fall. From up there, the world was breathtaking, an adventure only we could see. But sometimes I wonder if I’m standing on that rope alone, if you're still there when I fall. Or was it me who lost balance? We crossed mountains and valleys, left everything behind, but somewhere in that constant forward push, we lost direction. I thought we were in this dream together, but now I wonder if I was the only one who risked it all. I wanted to believe you’d catch me if I stumbled. But now, when I reach for your hand, all I feel is the cold emptiness that has grown between us. It’s still an adventure, but the view is no longer the same. And as I stand on this rope, I wonder, was it you who let me go, or was it me who could no longer hold on?
