"Social media killed romance" I don't think it's just a statement anymore, It's a reality we chose to ignore, I know it is because our expectations are higher than before. We don't fall for people anymore, We fall for posts that don't mean anything, A quote too deep, A life reduced to what someone chose to keep, A presence too tailored not to fit. We used to get excited over flowers, Now one "seen" makes us overthink for hours. We keep scrolling until someone "feels right" Confusing attention with affection, And presence with a highlight. Social media killed romance indeed, Making us too crazy to believe, That just a "seen" or a "delivered" Won't define a relationship that's already withered.

Well said. Bring back the old romance of flowers and letters and serenades under the moonlight 🥹
