what went through that brain? i ask this to a small boy who held wooden sticks in his hands, vigorous to make a car so he could drive to a supermarket. i was so certain it was going to work. until it was sunset, and grandma called me inside. " playtime is over " oh boy, those people that walked on foot could have cheered at me had i drove past them-

Deeply nostalgic and very relatable. I love the imagery of the wooden car. Beautiful written!❤️

The poem's really touching, especially the part where you mention your grandma being there it adds such a sweet layer to the memory 🥲

Hahaha What a wonderful memory and that too with grandma 🥺 I love how this one is infused with warmth. As a child everything was possible and that makes me smile fondly. Beautiful ❤️
