Why did I leave him just like that? My pain, a flame on the horse's back, Burning faster from all I lack, Why does the horse's tail so quickly burn? The facts I don't know, Still yet I must learn, Questions quickly capture and stir the fire, While others just sit back and admire, The horse burns and tries to run, But nothing can take away the painful sun. As I wonder, Why the fiery flame is fed so fast, I realize a weird shadow the clock doth cast, Time spins backwards in the silent room, As I ponder if tis my time of doom, Time to slowly wash away, Never again to see the light of day, The ground beneath my feet quietly calls, Waiting and waiting for me to fall. I wander through the leafy canopy of green, As the trees become darkishly clean, All the leaves fall into a little pool of blue. Covering my reflection, now I have not a clue.
