My favorite sweatshirt is an Illinois State Redbirds sweatshirt. I don’t even remember where I got it. I don’t live in Illinois. My family doesn’t cheer for the Redbirds. I definitely didn’t buy it new. It’s beat up A bit dingy And a little bit small I don’t know where it came from. All I know is that it feels like home. Which is weird, because I’m not exactly sure I know what home feels like — but I think it feels like wearing this sweatshirt. I think home feels like clothes just pulled warm from the dryer. Like that thing you feel when you see your best friend. I think home feels like hugs from your little sister, and cool summer nights around a campfire.
