In winter's chill, where hearts turn cold A flame of love can young souls unfold Like ice that thaws, and frozen grounds give way To warmth that spreads, and chases the gray A heart once broken, like shattered glass Reflected pain, and a love that wouldn't last But then came you, with a love so true And melted the frost, that had frozen me through Your touch ignited, a burning fire That thawed my soul, and never tired With every kiss, my heart beats fast In your arms, I find my love at last But love's not just, a romantic flame It's self-love too, that whispers "you're not to blame" For the heart that's heavy, with the weight of the past Self-love's warm embrace, can heal the hurt at last And when we find, our own self-worth We break free from chains, that bound us to this earth We rise above, the noise and the pain And find our true voice, our heart's sweet refrain Friendship and family, can also be the key To unlocking hearts, that have grown cold and free A listening ear, a helping hand Can be the love, that heals a broken land With every touch, the ice begins to break And love's warm light, on the frozen heart does make A pathway clear, to a love so true Thawing hearts, and seeing me and you. Winter's chill, can be a metaphor too For the emotional numbness, that we sometimes go through But fire's warmth, can symbolize the love That burns within us, sent from above So let us spread, this love and this light To thaw the frozen hearts, and make everything right For in the end, it's love that makes us whole And melts the frost, that had taken its toll.
