Little girl not so little anymore You seek the truth, wishing it will come But sometimes it is better to give up You have grown up Little girl not so little anymore You have responsibilities, whether you like it or not You blow out the candle, dreaming out loud But you cannot change it now Little girl not so little anymore It's not your fault, yet you have to face it The river keeps going even with the broken branches Accept it. They broked you down, something did And yet you deny it existence Let the dollhouse go, you got your time Even if you have wasted it. Oh what a mature child, You care so much, what a beauty, Now you are just a broken teen Let's face it. Oh you seek comfort under someone's wing? Oh poor thing It's not their job to glue you up You have to move on Fill your own cup, as you always had Nobody came, nobody saw And you are still waiting, what a pity No one is going to rescue sweety. Mommy and daddy didn't do their part, or maybe they did, can you even remember? Oh what a strong human you could have been Yet you watch your cracks cutting you entirely Don't blame them for being slow Blame yourself for being too fast Now you have grown, wasn't this what you wanted? Now you can't go back, never again Accept it. -Catarina Ferrão 9/2/2026
