I'm glad my passion shows! Lol. I've been writing poetry for around seven years. I have a really eclectic mix of contemporary, minimalist style work (which is they type I've been sharing here, mostly) and a backlog of meditations and metaphysical work that I'm working on for publication that doesn't lend itself so readily to "social media" style posts, haha. I taught myself by reading what I like, reading about reading, and writing a poem a day for several months when I first started. 😊
That's impressive talent I must say. You're not missing out on the social media part. It's bad enough we have to trim our writings down to a paltry quote to feed the algorithm gods. I'm wishing you good luck on the publication journey. Are there any magazine/s you've been published in the past? Oh, poetry found me by accident around the same time you started writing too. I think that reading (a lot) surely helps a writer to sharpen their skills and writing, obsessively.
